There’s nothing we love more than a bottomless brunch. Who doesn’t want to hand over a bit of cash for unlimited alcoholic beverages and food? Tasty treats and as much drink as you can handle for a great price. You had me at unlimited alcoholic beverages.
And if there’s one thing we love almost as much as unlimited booze, it’s singing badly while under the influence of unlimited booze. Enter the Karaoke Brunch Club.
A festive-themed karaoke brunch coming to Manchester offers you the chance to sing along to all of your favourite Disney and festive classics.
Tuck into a variety of foodie options including a selection of fresh sweet and savoury muffins, scones accompanied with double cream and raspberry preserve, delightful French chocolate éclairs, an assortment of freshly made sandwiches and homemade pork sausage rolls in a butter pastry with a tomato relish.
And let’s not forget the bottomless drinks including champagne, gin and vodka.
“We actually started doing it in Australia out of all places.” says director Aaron Charles.
“And now we’re brought it to the UK. The Manchester date is the first ever UK event we’re hosting, and we’ve got a lot more planned for all over the UK next year and have already sold out loads of events already.”
Kicking off at 11am, bottomless brunch will be served from 11.30-12.30, then the karaoke begins! From 12.30 to 4pm you will sing along to your all-time favourite Disney soundtracks as well as Christmas classics, getting you well and truly in the festive spirit.
“Let’s be honest, most people aren’t good singers. But once someone’s got a bit of drink behind them they suddenly turn into music legends. It’s a good mix of fun, getting a bit drunk on a Saturday afternoon with some nice food, and once you’re a bit tipsy and the Disney classics come on you can’t help but sing your heart out to the songs.
“The atmosphere is amazing, it’s not like there’s just one person on stage singing to a silent room – there’s 3 or 4 mic’s going around the venue so everyone is joining in, people from different groups all singing together – so everyone gets fully involved.
“It’s not just one person up on stage embarrassing themselves – and I think that’s why people enjoy it so much. Everyone loves a singalong – you can’t help yourself but want to join in.”
The dress code for the event is Disney and Christmas-themed, with prizes awarded for worst and best dressed, and worst and best song – because who doesn’t like a bit of healthy competition?
And there’s a free photo booth so guests can take something away with them to remember the day and make-up artists for face paint and glitter.
“It’s going to be a great Christmas mix full of Disney classics – we mix the two together. Guests have free reign to choose whichever songs they like and with everyone dressed up it’s going to be loads of fun.”
The daytime affair takes place on Saturday 15th December from 12pm – 5pm at a secret city centre location which we can reveal will be somewhere in the Northern Quarter.
The actual location will be revealed to ticket holders 10 days prior to the event taking place.
Remaining tickets for the event are priced at £35 and are selling out fast, so get yours ASAP to avoid disappointment.
